A customer with a new freezer warehouse was looking to maximize the space within the facility. SJF weighted multiple solutions of single and deep lane storage, along with various forklift methods. A double deep rack layout provided the best value per pallet location with the given building design. By utilizing end of aisle cap bays, and different beam elevations, every square inch of space was utilized to its best potential.
