A 3PL customer was in need of a simple solution for high volume unloading in a mixed-client fulfillment center in IL. SJF designed and installed a system that was capable of unloading trucks from 6 different dock doors, and discharging on to gravity. Most inbound containers contained a single SKU, so a pitched gravity station to feed manual pallet build was installed. SJF was able to install the system utilizing MDR conveyor, which did not require use of a control panel, but still allowed flow to not back up the truck unloader, but shut conveyor down if the lanes were over-full.
