What is Sturdi-Bilt Pallet Racking?

Currently manufactured by Unarco, Sturdi-Bilt pallet rack is still one of the more prominent brands on the used racking market today. Sturdi-Bilt pallet racking features a "wedge lock" clip system to hold the beams in place on the uprights. The beams sit on a clip that fits in slots in the upright. This provides a strong friction connection and is fairly easy to assemble and reconfigure. Typically Sturdi-Bilt rack colors are yellow for the beams and dark blue for both beams and upright columns.

Key Identification Details

Upright Frames

The vertical structure that dictates the height and depth of the pallet racking system. Two upright frames are needed for a starting bay. Once the first structure is in place, only one additional upright frame is needed to add on. Upright frames come in two post sizes depending on weight capacity needs.

Beams

The horizontal weight-bearing structure connecting upright frames to each other. Beams come in different lengths and heights depending on the size needed and the weight of stored items. They come in step or box style, which allow the use of optional supports or decking. Beams can be adjusted and reconfigured as needs change.

Post protectors to protect the base of upright frames from forklifts
