What is T-Bolt Pallet Racking?
Unarco t-bolt pallet racks are amongst the most popular bolt-together brands of pallet racking currently on the market. Made by Unarco, T-bolt beams are attached to the upright columns with large bolts and must be tightened properly to provide rated capacities. A tab on each beam end connector holds the beam in place while the T-bolt is installed. The T-bolt is inserted through the front of the beam turned by 90 degrees. This locks the bolt in place and the nut is then tightened over the bolt stem. T-bolt pallet rack beams are usually dark blue or orange and the upright columns are usually dark blue.
Key Identification Details
Upright Frames
The vertical structure that dictates the height and depth of the pallet racking system. Two upright frames are needed for a starting bay. Once the first structure is in place, only one additional upright frame is needed to add on. Upright frames come in two post sizes depending on weight capacity needs.
Beams
The horizontal weight-bearing structure connecting upright frames to each other. Beams come in different lengths and heights depending on the size needed and the weight of stored items. They come in step or box style, which allow the use of optional supports or decking. Beams can be adjusted and reconfigured as needs change.

- Wire decking to add a mesh layer over beams so items don't fall through and to add strength
- Post protectors to protect the base of upright frames from forklifts
- Wall ties, back-to-back ties and anchors for additional stability
